Princess Beatrice has made her first public appearance since tying the knot to husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a secret ceremony in July.
On Wednesday, September 23, the 32-year-old paid a visit to her vintage wedding dress ahead of it being put on public display at Windsor Castle.
It marked the first time the royal had seen her gown since her wedding day.
Beatrice cut an elegant figure in a floral dress by The Vampire’s Wife, black stilettos by Aquazzura and a chic red and blue face mask.
The newlywed enjoyed a tour of the display, which is set to open to the UK public shortly, which showcases her wedding dress, shoes and a replica of her bouquet.
“It was a really lovely moment for her to be reunited with her dress and to be able to see it as part of the display in the state dining room,” curator of the exhibition Caroline de Guitaut said of Princess Beatrice’s visit.
“She seemed really, really happy and we talked about the history of the dress and its wearing by the Queen and the alternations that were made to turn it into a wedding dress.”

In July, royal watchers delighted over Beatrice’s choice in wedding gown with the oldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, wearing a vintage Norman Hartnell design, on loan from her grandmother the Queen who wore it herself back in 1967 for the State Opening of Parliament.
The dress is made from Peau De Soie taffeta in shades of ivory and is also trimmed with ivory duchess satin.
Featuring organza sleeves, it is encrusted with diamantés with a geometric checkered bodice.
The stunning design was remodelled and fitted by one of the Queen’s dressers and fashion advisers, designer Angela Kelly as well as Stewart Parvin especially for Beatrice’s wedding day.
Princess Beatrice wed Count Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a top-secret wedding on Friday, July 17, at Windsor Castle.
The pair tied the knot in a low-key ceremony attended by less than 20 guests after they were forced to cancel their original wedding date of May 29 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the Queen, Prince Philip, and Beatrice’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, and father Prince Andrew, as well as her sister, Princess Eugenie, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, were all in attendance on the day.
