Princess Beatrice has a whirlwind few months ahead as she plans her wedding to fiancée Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in May, but she’s still made time for a significant trip in between.
The royal Princess has led an important delegation to Pakistan, where she will partake in skiing and other winter sports.
The group, which includes Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar, and former Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, have been hosted by the Pakistan’s president, Dr. Arif Alvi.
And while a casual skiing trip sounds like fun and games, the visit is actually for work, with Beatrice attending as part of her role within AI firm Afiniti.
Princess Beatrice is in Pakistan for a working trip ahead of her royal wedding in May.
(Getty)Arif Alvi shared a candid photo from the trip to Twitter, explaining that the trip “reflects the trust of foreign tourists over tourist potential in Pakistan”.
“That’s why such a large delegation has come to Pakistan to enjoy skiing,” he added.
“With the world increasingly acknowledging Pakistan’s natural beauty, Pakistan is destined to emerge as the tourist hub of the region and beyond.”
Beatrice will hit the slopes alongside 60 other skiers in the Kaghan Valley, and their activities will include heli-skiing.
Like the name suggests, the activity involves downhill skiing in parts of mountains that are only reachable by helicopter.
Sounds like it’ll be quite the adventure!
The royal will partake in a series of snow-filled activities whilst in Pakistan.
(Getty)Details about Beatrice’s upcoming wedding to Edoardo were confirmed earlier this month, with the date set for May 29.
The pair will wed at The Chapel Royal, St James’s Palace in a low-key ceremony, followed by a private reception hosted by The Queen in Buckingham Palace’s gardens.
The pair have been together for almost two years, with their relationship going public towards the end of 2018.
