It’s no secret that Princess Beatrice likes to party, but it appears she quit her job in finance to spend more time having fun.
Though friends insist the 25-year-old royal is “already looking for another job” since recently leaving the firm she joined mid-2012, she has spent most of the summer holidaying by the beach with friends, escaping to Venice with her mother, and attending weddings and parties with her sister, Princess Eugenie.
The Daily Mail reports the Princess, who began work at an investment capital firm after completing her studies last year, has “quietly left” her job.
Friends say she is seeking employment and “would like to start somewhere new as soon as possible”.
There has been increased attention on the party princess, who had a big bash for her 25th birthday earlier this month as rumours swirled that an engagement to her long-time boyfriend David Clark, was imminent.
Beatrice, who is sixth in line to the throne, has always lived a “relatively normal” life as a young royal.
She is patron to two charities but rarely performs royal engagements solo.
But her recent departure from her finance job has prompted some royal watchers to consider whether Beatrice could ever become a full-time royal.
She lives in a flat in St James’s Palace in London with her younger sister Eugenie, close to Buckingham Palace and attached to Prince Charles’ residence, but neither Princesses have their own offices or staff.
Both Beatrice and Eugenie are regulars at royal celebrations, are keen to make a difference in the charities and causes they support, and are very close to their grandmother the Queen.
While Beatrice is said to be keen to get back into the workforce, royal news website Royal Central has suggest “there is a place for her on the royal circuit”.
