Instead she is stepping out, looking better than ever as she attended the US Open in New York over the weekend.

The royal cut a chic figure as she kicked off her numerous appearances at the sporting tournament.

While the match was heating up on the court, it was the off-court action that had everyone buzzing.

Putting her best foot forward…

This is Beatrice’s first public outing since her split from longtime beau, Dave Clark.

The single Princess was happily mingling in an A-list box with the likes of Wendi Deng, supermodel Karlie Kloss and Heidi Klum’s partner, Vito Schnabel.

But the 28-year-old was particularly chummy with Hollywood agent, Michael Kives, as they watched the men’s semi-finals on September 9.

Michael’s most famous client is starlet Kate Hudson, and the pair have been linked to one another numerous times.

A regular on the actress’ Instagram, he was rumoured to be dating the mum-of-two last October, after they were spotted getting rather cosy in a car.

Despite the nature of their friendship, Michael told TMZ they are just “very close friends”.”

One thing is certain, Bea, who dated Dave for over a decade, is loving her fresh new start.

Last month, after ringing in her 28th birthday with oil heir and longtime Mike Hess, the pair decided to continue the fun as they attended the Men’s singles final match between Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka on September 11.

Wendi Deng was back again, as well as Ivanka Trump, producer David Geffen and model Karlie Kloss.

Twinning in white! Beatrice was joined by British billionaire, Jamie Reuben, as she watched the men’s final between Novak Djokovic and Stan Wawrinka on September 11.

Jamie has been firm friends with both Beatrice and Dave.

Looking very preppy in a navy skirt and white blouse, Beatrice seemed particularly chuffed to have her friend and billionaire Jamie Reuben by her side.

But the royal wasn’t the only one have a fab time at the US Open.

Avoiding an awkward run-in, Bea’s ex was at also at the tournament, for the women’s semi-finals on September 8.

Seated next to George W. Bush’s daughter, Barbara, Celebrity Laundry claims that the pair were actually on a date.

“Dave Clark was also there with a date. The British businessman seems to have taken a shine to former President George W. Bush’s daughter Barbara Bush,” the website claimed.

This certainly lends itself to talks that Beatrice’s split is mirroring William’s break-up with Kate in 2007, prior to their engagement.

“It was all mutual and very amicable. After ten years together, they needed to work out what they both wanted and have some space,” an insider recently told Hello! of their split.

“It could be that once they have had some time apart, they might decide to get back together. It’s very clear they have the support of the Duchess and the whole family and they (the York family) are very open-minded about what might happen in the long term.”

For now, Beatrice is focusing on her responsibilities as a royal.

Following her weekend of tennis, the 28-year-old joined her mother Sarah, Duchess of York, at the Annual Charity Day hosted by Cantor Fitzgerald, BGC and GFI in New York.

The charity, which supports victims of terrorism, emergencies and natural disasters, was set up following the September 2011 World Trade Centre attacks, where 658 Cantor Fitzgerald friends and colleagues and 61 Eurobrokers employees lost their lives.

“The next generation we need to support making the world a better place,” Fergie said about the organisation’s work.
