Pregnant Princess Beatrice is understood to have been admitted to hospital over the weekend as her due date nears.
The 33-year-old royal was last seen at a garden party on Thursday in the UK showing off her growing belly at the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice event.
Now, she has allegedly been hospitalised in London, with at least one royal expert claiming the princess will give birth soon.
“Princess Beatrice, is reportedly in a London hospital,” royal commentator Robert Jobson tweeted on Sunday.
“Looks like the birth of The Queen’s 12th great-grandchild imminent.”
Princess Beatrice was last seen at a garden party on Thursday in the UK.
(Twitter)Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have not shared any details about the due date or upcoming birth of their child publicly.
The couple announced they were expecting in June, just one month shy of their first wedding anniversary.
The child will be the princess’ first, while Edoardo already shares a son, Christopher ‘Wolfie’, five, with his ex-fiancée Dara Huang.
Beatrice has openly shared her joy at being a stepmother, calling Christopher her “bonus son” in an August interview.
“But I’ve felt very lucky to have had the chance to work with my bonus son (Christopher) over the course of the school closures,” she said, referencing the UK coronavirus lockdowns that closed schools.
The royal welcomed Christopher into her life before she and Edoardo wed in a secret ceremony in July of 2020.
It’s understood that the little boy played a special role on the couple’s wedding day too, though Beatrice and Edoardo have chosen to keep many of the details of their nuptial private.
Now royal fans are waiting with bated breath to see if Beatrice will give birth in the coming hours or days.
