Prince William has spoken about the “power” he feels when he save’s someone’s life, saying there’s “no greater feeling” than helping people.
The 30-year-old royal has given a candid interview about his job as an RAF search and rescue pilot for an upcoming documentary.
“There’s no greater feeling than when you’ve actually done some good and saved someone’s life,” he said.
“I don’t think there’s any greater calling in life … to be able to see a son or daughter’s face when you bring their mother or father back from the edge of death — it’s quite powerful.”
William, or Flight Lieutenant Wales as he is called in the RAF, appears in new TV series Helicopter Rescue, which airs on the BBC on April 8.
The series follows the crews at William’s RAF base Anglesey.
