Proving he’s just like a ‘regular’ dad, Prince William is reportedly determined to take part in the morning school run for his kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as per The Sun.

The publication reports that the duke will serve as a taxi for his three children as they start at their new school next month. The route is apparently mostly private roads.

The report follows the confirmation that the Cambridge kids will be starting at Lambrook School in Berkshire in September.

This coincides with the family’s upcoming move to Windsor to be closer to Her Majesty, The Queen.

The royals announced the news on Monday via a Kensington Palace release.

“Their Royal Highnesses are hugely grateful to Thomas’s Battersea where George and Charlotte have had a happy start to their education since 2017 and 2019 respectively and are pleased to have found a school for all three of their children which shares a similar ethos and values,” it read.

Jonathon Perry, the Headmaster at Lambrook School, also said: “We are delighted that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will be joining us this coming September and very much look forward to welcoming the family, as well as all of our new pupils, to our school community.”

While the school does offer the option to board, which has been popular among royals, the Cambridge kids are expected to be day students.

According to their website, “Lambrook is a leading co-educational Prep School for 615 boys and girls aged 3-13, set in 52 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside”.

The royals have a long history at Lambrook school. Queen Victoria even used to travel from Windsor Castle to the institution to watch her grandsons play cricket and perform in plays.

She would park her carriage where the school’s Queen building now stands.

What’s more, on its 52 acres, Lambrook has its own Orchard with bees, chickens and pigs, as well as woodland, a nine hole golf course, and many sports pitches.

“We are fortunate to have some of the best facilities in the independent sector at preparatory level,” their official website reads.

These include a 25-metre swimming pool, Astroturf, Hard Courts, a Diamond Jubilee Performing Arts Studio, Dance Studio and Sports Hall.
