A registrar from Westminster Births Deaths and Marriages brought the birth registration paperwork to Kensington Palace.
These were no ordinary forms, with the new royal’s home listed as a palace and her parents citing their occupations as Prince and Princess of the United Kingdom.
When the Palace officials released the forms on their social media accounts, royal fans were quick to point out that the Duchess of Cambridge is not often referred to by that title.
As a result, twitter erupted with hilarious comments about the impressive vocation.
It was a big day for three-day-old Charlotte who was not only officially registered but got to meet her great-grandmother and namesake Queen Elizabeth.
Her Majesty, who has been away at her private residence in Norfolk made the journey to the Duke And Duchess’ apartment at Kensington Palace to meet the gorgeous new bub.
Prince Harry, who remains in Australia as part of his military work, is the last of the senior royals to meet Princess Charlotte.
Kensington Palace reported that Harry “can’t wait” to meet his “absolutely beautiful” niece, despite being bumped down to fifth in line to the throne thanks to the new arrival.
