“I think I speak for my generation when I say that the example and continuity provided by The Queen is not only very rare among leaders but a great source of pride and reassurance,” writes the dad-of-two.

The book is set to be published ahead of two incredible landmarks for Her Majesty, one being her 90th birthday on April 21st 2016 and the other, her stunning achievement as Britain’s longest serving Monarch.

In the preface for the biography, the Duke of Cambridge also touched on the role model The Queen has been for him not only as a future monarch himself but also as a grandson.

“The Queen’s kindness and sense of humour, her innate sense of calm and perspective and her love of family and home are all attributes I experience first-hand,” he penned.
