Duchess Catherine and Prince William are in the throes of their royal tour all over Scotland – but it only took one very special visit to a very particular place that left fans well and truly satisfied.
On the second day of their joint tour (William kicked things off two days prior on his own), the Duke and Duchess spent time with locals in Orkney, visiting a hospital as well as partaking in a short walkabout.
No doubt the day’s activities would’ve been energy sapping, but they still managed to find time for a very special date night away from prying eyes – kind of…
As they arrived in the town of St Andrews, the very place they met as they attended its University 20 years ago, the pair managed to sneak out for a cute date night at a local restaurant.
On their way out, the pair were spotted by onlookers – one of which shared a picture to Twitter showing Kate’s sweet date night outfit.
She wore a bright pink printed jumper and her staple fave – skinny jeans and sneakers.
The next day, the pair visited several locations around St Andrews – ending with another date night at a drive-in cinema.
The couple hosted a special showing of Cruella at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in recognition of healthcare workers who worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic.
They also paid tribute to another special person, Prince Philip, as they drove into the arena in one of his beloved Land Rovers.
Sounds like back-to-back date nights to remember.
