Unseen footage has captured a sweet family moment between Prince William, Kate Middleton and their son Prince George at the UEFA Euro soccer grand finals.

But as the new video shows, his parents were there to comfort him in his disappointment, with Kate taking his hand and pulling him close.
In the clip, the Duchess of Cambridge cradles her sonโs head gently and leans over him to speak to William.
The Duke then places a comforting hand on Georgeโs shoulder, leaning over to speak to him as the family prepares to leave the stands.
The footage was shared to Instagram by England fan Daniel Ingram, who said he was โso fortunateโ to attend the match and sit so close to the royals.
Even as the Cambridge trio exited their seats alongside the likes of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Kate and William were protective of their son.
He walked between them as they left the stadium, looking dejected as he followed his father while mum Kate walked at the rear.
Despite the disappointing result for the young royal, his appearance at the match had royal fans absolutely thrilled.
The Cambridge children have rarely been seen out in public over the last 18 months as the coronavirus pandemic forced the royal family to change how they work.
William and Kate were among the many senior royals who turned to virtual engagements, carrying out their royal duties via video calls during the lockdowns.

Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, didnโt attend the Euros with their parents and older brother.
The few glimpses weโve caught of the younger Cambridges in the last year have only been through official portraits and videos.
