Prince William, Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cambridge will reportedly be jetting off to attend the lavish Italian wedding of close friend Charlie Gilkes in September.
According to Vanity Fair, the royals with be among the star studded guest list at the extravagant autumn nuptials of Gilkes and his PR fiancée Anneke von Trotha Taylor.
“The [Cambridges] are really looking forward to it and William and Kate are planning to leave Prince George with Kate’s parents so they can go and have a good time,” a royal insider reportedly told Vanity Fair.
The 30-year-old groom, who is an alum of Eton, was once linked romantically to Pippa Middleton.
Earlier this year the Princes’ were the life of the party at close pal Guy Pelly’s Memphis wedding held near Elvis’s Graceland mansion.
While the Duchess of Cambridge missed out on the American adventure to take care of Prince George, the Duke of Cambridge was said to be the life of the party.
Performer Jimmy Church, whose band Shout played at the wedding, told People magazine in May that the elder Prince let his hair down on the dance floor.
“William had so much fun, he told me he wanted to bring the band to England,” Church says.
“I was surprised with how humble he was, how kind. He thanked me just for giving him my card so he could call us up and have us out,” Church added.
In the past few months the royal trio have made official appearances together at the Tower of London, the Tour de France and the Commonwealth Games.
