The Duke of Cambridge has paid tribute to his wife Catherine in a rare TV interview.
William said he is “very proud” of how Kate has adapted to motherhood, declaring her to be an “amazing” mum.
He also opened up about life as a father of two, saying that while new baby Charlotte is a “joy of heaven”, Prince George is a “little monkey” who makes things “very busy”.
“It’s been obviously fantastic,” William said. “But at the same time, it is more responsibility looking after two little ones, especially when George is around.”
William recorded the interview with Sky News to mark his first day in his new job as an air ambulance pilot after two months of paternity leave to help look after his new little princess.
He spoke extensively about his enthusiasm for his new role, before dropping a tantalising hint about his and Kate’s plans for baby number three.
“We’ve only just had the second one; we’ll let you know,” he said. “You never know what’s going to happen in the future.”
