The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have attended the major official reception of their Australia tour, with a beaming Prime Minister hosting the Royal couple in the Great Hall of Parliament House.
Prince William delivered a speech that painted a wonderful picture of modern-day Australia and articulated the Dukeโs love for the country.
He said that while he and Catherine will return home tomorrow โreluctantlyโ, โGeorge goes away with his cuddly wombat which he has taken to chewing so lovingly.โ
Tony Abbott, who referred to William and Catherine as โSirโ and โMaamโ, thanked the Duke and Duchess โfor the joy you have given us.โ

William says โCatherine and I look forward to paying tribute to them at tomorrowโs ANZAC Day commemoration; and โ with my brother Harry โ to taking part in next yearโs Gallipoli centenary.โ
