Former Friends star Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey on the seminal sitcom, has told Glamour.com that the royal brothers cornered him at a recent polo event and asked him if the hit show will ever return.
“They asked me when the ‘Friends‘ reunion was. I said, ‘Tomorrow? I don’t know. Whenever you want it to be!'” said Le Blanc.
While the actor did a good job of sparing the royals some crushing disappointment, the likelihood of a reunion is not looking good.
Since the final episode aired in May 2004 the interweb has constantly been abuzz about the possibility of getting the cast back together but last year the show’s co-creator, Marta Kaufman, seemed to put a kybosh on all the chatter.
“Friends was about that time in your life when your friends are your family and once you have a family, there’s no need anymore,” said Kaufman.
