Prince William found himself in the middle of a crime scene when he was called to his latest job with the East Anglia Air Ambulance service.
According to the Daily Mail, the royal was called to attend to an alleged stabbing incident in Hertfordshire as part of his job as a pilot.
Reports allege that a man had been stabbed at a residential estate.
Shocked onlookers, who had gathered to watch the dramatic scene involved, couldn’t believe when it was the Prince who came to the rescue.
The crew from the East Anglian Air Ambulance later confirmed they had been called to the job after a man suffered injuries from a fight.
A man in his 20s was reportedly taken to hospital after suffering injuries to his arm and back.
One bystander, 19-year-old Jordan Hamill, filmed the event, streaming it live on social media.
“I had just finished work and my friend phoned me and said what had happened and I just ran over there,” he told the publication.
“At first I didn’t know it was him, but then everyone kept saying Prince William was there.”
Jordan recounted an incident where one royal fan got a bit too excited.
“Earlier on there was a crazy lady who ran in front of the helicopter and screamed ‘I love you William’ but she got taken away by the police,” he explained.
“The police were keeping everyone back,” he continued. “But it was cool to be that close.”
“At first I didn’t know it was him but that’s what everyone was saying,” Jordan said. “I even heard the police said it was him.”
According to another eyewitness, the royal father of Prince George and Princess Charlotte got out of the ambulance and waved at fans.
William’s all grown up and saving lives, but we remember when he was just a little tyke teaching Prince Harry to play piano in the clip below.
