We’re all very much aware that Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are quite possibly the cutest royals to ever exist… well, that is until you look to Sweden’s adorable young royal fold.
Yep, up there with the world’s cutest regal cherubs is Prince Oscar of Sweden, who just celebrated his fourth birthday with a photo shoot that can only be described as pure heaven.
Indeed the Swedish Palace gifted fans two new gorgeous portraits of the young royal, one of which also features his big sister, Princess Estelle.
Now all we want to know is where on earth the time has gone – they’re growing up far too quickly!
Taking to Instagram on March 2, the Swedish Royal household shared the stunning new images featuring the young Prince alongside the caption: “Today, Prince Oscar turns 4!”
The beautiful black and white shots, captured by photographer Linda Broström, include one of Oscar smiling into a bright stream of sunlight.
In the second, he and eight-year-old sister Estelle are seen together. Too cute!
The royal children’s parents, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are no doubt proud as punch of their adorable brood.
Just a week ago, the Palace shared additional new images of young Princess Estelle, who had just celebrated her eighth birthday.
It seems the new images of both children were captured at the same time. PEOPLE reports they were taken in mid-February at Haga Castle, which is near their home of Stokholm.
Given the release of new images of royal children are often few and far between, it’s been a real treat to see so many beautiful snaps of the growing royals in such a short space of time.
With a mum set to one day become Queen of Sweden, the royal children are second and third in line to the regal throne.
And it seems that the Swedish institution already has big things planned for the kids.
Princess Estelle has a brand new foundation named after her, which was recently launched by her parents.
Victoria and Daniel kick-started The Princess Estelle Cultural Foundation to highlight, support and celebrate cultural achievements in the Scandinavian country.
According to the Palace’s statement, the foundation will “emphasise the importance of art and culture to an open and modern society”.
It’s expected that young Prince Oscar will also follow in his family’s footsteps as he grows up, being a part of wider charitable and enterprise initiatives.
It’s abundantly clear these two royal children have a bright future ahead!
