Look sharp, royal fans – another royal wedding is on the horizon, and you can bet we’re already prepping our eyeballs for a fashion extravaganza.
This time, it’s Luxembourg’s celebration. Prince Louis, the 34-year-old son of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa has announced his engagement to his parter Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue, 29.
The Prince shared the news along with three gorgeous new photos of himself with his soon-to-be wife.
The happy couple are seen beaming in the first candid snap taken against a sunny blue sky.
In the next, the couple stand alongside Louis’ parents Henri and Maria in a professional setting.
In the final image, the pair’s formal engagement shot features Louis in a woolen coat while Scarlett-Lauren wears a gorgeous sky blue ensemble.
Prince Louis was previously married to his former wife Tessy Anthony from 2006 until 2019 when their separation was finalised.
The pair share two sons, Prince Gabriel, 15, and Prince Noah, 13.
It looks like the former couple have now truly found their happily ever afters – Tessy has recently announced she is expecting her first child with her fiancee Frank Floessel.
Meanwhile, Louis couldn’t look more thrilled to be engaged to Scarlett-Lauren.
In a statement from the Palace, the royals shared: “We are happy to announce the engagement of our son, Prince Louis, to Miss Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue.
“Princes Gabriel and Noah join us in surrounding the new couple with all our affection. We wish them immense happiness.”
Of course, we can’t go past a royal engagement without getting a really good look at the ring.
Scarlett-Lauren’s gold engagement ring, adorned with a sizeable diamond with a unique circular design is every bit as extravagant as you’d expect from the royals.
And if that’s anything to go by, we’re pretty sure the wedding will be a spectacle to behold in itself. Stay tuned…
