His beloved English team may not have made it into the finals, but that doesnโ€™t mean that Prince Harry is bowing out of the competition.

The handsome Prince confirmed today that he will be attending the blockbuster ending to the 2015 Rugby World Cup between Australia and New Zealand to present the winner with the trophy.

Prince Harry will join World Rugby Chairman Bernard Lapasset and RFU President Jason Leonard on stage to give the trophy to the winning side as the honorary President of the England team on Sunday.

The 31-year-old has been a constant fixture at the games, even appearing in a television commercial as a lowly gardener.

Harry joined his brother, Prince William, who is an avid Wales fan (as their future Prince) and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, for a heated (but friendly) rivalry between the two competing sides.

And even though the Princeโ€™s beloved Red Roses wonโ€™t be in the running to win the big title, Harry is still proud as punch.

โ€œIt has been one of the most competitive and entertaining World Cups ever,โ€ Harry remarked of the World Cup.

โ€œThis evening, we would like to thank all of you for making England 2015 such a successful and enjoyable tournament for everybody. You are helping inspire children of all backgrounds to get involved with the game we all love.โ€
