There’s no question that Prince Harry is head over heels for Meghan Markle.
In fact, the 32-year-old has been pulling out all the stops for his girlfriend so that she knows he cares.
In order for the Suits actress to avoid waiting in lines, prying eyes and paps, Harry has pulled some strings so that Meghan can skip the passport queues at Heathrow airport.
According to The Express, the 36-year-old can get off the plane and go straight to Prince Harry’s car when she visits him in London.
A friend of the royal’s told Express, “It’s been happening for a while.”
“Harry has a police escort on the tarmac in his black Audi RS6. He is accompanied by a bodyguard, with a people carrier following behind. Meghan usually only carries hand luggage.”
Adding, “If she does check a suitcase into the hold it is put on last so it can be located as quickly as possible. All the necessary security checks must be carried out in advance or on board because she walks straight from the plane and steps to Harry’s car.”
Harry’s romantic measure has actually saved the pair from using the Windsor suite – an exclusive private waiting room at the airport used for royals, celebrities and dignitaries, that costs around $AUD4870.
Avid royal watchers can’t help but notice all the tell-tale signs pointing to an engagement announcement.
Harry recently whisked his girlfriend away for a romantic trip to Botswana for her 36th birthday.
“Harry has been planning this holiday for a long time,” a source told The Sun.
“He’s made the trip incredibly romantic. They’ll go on boats across the lake, walk in the bush at dawn and camp under the stars.”
The location holds huge significance for the Windsor boys, with Prince William popping to the question to Kate Middleton in Africa 7 years ago.
Insiders close to the palace wouldn’t be surprised if Harry followed suit, sharing, “Who knows what will happen when they’re watching a sensational African sunset together?”
“Maybe he’ll get down on one knee. Harry regards Africa as his spiritual home and has often talked of how he can get away from it all there.”
Harry has voiced his love for Africa, calling it the place where “I feel more like myself than anywhere in the world.”
Meanwhile, Harry’s friend US marine Kirstie Ennis confirmed that a wedding was happening.
The 26-year-old reportedly nodded her head when she asked if she’d by going to Harry’s “upcoming wedding”.
The Daily Mail report that she remarked, “I don’t think I’m worried about the wedding. I’m worried about the after-party.”
