Prince Harry sends funny birthday message to Usain Bolt

The young royal found a very cheeky way to send his best wishes to the Olympic champion.

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has received a fun message to celebrate his 30th from none other than Prince Harry!

Kensington Palace’s official Twitter account featured a little teaser post before Harry’s well wishes: “We were also watching the sprinting closely last week and have a special message for one of the competitors on his birthday…”

Then Harry took over the account for a bit of a cheeky post: “Congratulations @usainbolt – now you’re officially the greatest you might be ready for a re-run! Happy 30th –H.”

Looks like it’s a false start for Usain!

Usain can’t believe the Prince “beat him”!

The cute caption sat alongside a photo of Harry beating the sprinter in a race.

The pair met back in 2012 during Prince Harry’s royal tour of Jamaica.

Ever the good sport, Usain congratulates the royal on his massive win.

Usain was a very good sport, posing for a series of photographs before letting the 31-year-old royal beat him in a running race.

The crowd loved the stunt, laughing and cheering the Prince and the athlete on.

Fans of the pair loved Harry’s tweet and were quick to respond with rematch suggestions.

They are the greatest!

“Maybe London 2017? Opening event Usain v Harry!” one user enthusiastically posted.

The athlete has revealed his intentions to retire after the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

But we’d definitely like to see one final Harry/Usain race before he does!
