Prince Harry has once again shown his dedication to causes close to his mother Princess Diana’s heart.
The young royal spoke out about his priority to raise awareness of HIV after paying a visit to King’s College Hospital’s HIV service in London.
The Prince was reportedly quite shocked to learn that the rate of infection of HIV was on the rise in the UK.
He reaffirmed his dedication to the cause among the doctors and nurses while he was there.
The 31-year-old spoke passionately about the need to “normalise testing and smash the stigma” after he was told about 25 per cent of people with the disease were unaware they had it.
“I’m not trying to scare people,” he said, “but [this issue] is very much on your own doorstep. You owe it to the people you love… to get tested.”
He continued: “People need to be reminded, particularly with numbers going up. Something needs to change,” he said.
This isn’t the first time Harry has been involved with assisting those affected by HIV.
The royal set up a charity to help young people infected with the disease just after his gap year.
He also has visited several of the HIV units that his mother Princess Diana used to visit during her time campaigning for awareness of the disease.

And just last month, Prince Harry surprised delighted concergoers at a charity benefit he’d organised to help HIV sufferers.
He took to the stage with British super band Coldplay at Kensington Palace to sing their hit song Up&Up.

The first ever pop concert on the Palace lawn was organised by Harry’s charity, Sentebale, to raise funds for people affected by AIDS.
We’re sure Diana would have been so proud of her young man.
