Imagine speaking to Prince Harry – serving him in fact – and not realising it was the red-headed Royal until he left.
That is exactly what has happened to Kim Phuong Nguyen, the owner of Wattle Bakery in Holsworthy.
Prince Harry entered the bakery just before 8am with a fellow comrade and ordered a $5 bahn mi with the lot, with just a little chilli, according to The Daily Telegraph.
“We had no idea,” Nguyen told The Tele.
“Nobody knew him. We saw too many army people and didn’t know.”
It was only when they received phone calls from journalists asking about the Royal visit, that Nguyen and her staff realised.
But the question on The Weekly’s mind isn’t why they didn’t realise, but why Captain Wales ordered a pork roll for breakfast.
Did a few evening beers leave the Prince craving a greasy feed before 9am? Or was the idea of a bahn mi with the lot just too good to wait until lunchtime?
