Prince Harry travelled back to Afghanistan on the weekend to commemorate Remembrance Day.
The fourth in line to the throne, who is a captain in the army, attended a service at an airfield in the city of Kandahar.
The 30-year-old royal was representing his grandmother, The Queen, to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers.
Harry gave a reading and laid a wreath, which had a message attached: “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. They will never be forgotten. Harry.”
The prince served in Afghanistan as an Apache co-pilot.
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, along with Prince Charles and Prince William marked the event in London, attending the annual Remembrance Sunday Service at the Cenotaph at Whitehall.
