Prince Harry has attended the wedding of Princess Diana’s nephew George McCorquodale to Bianca Moore.
The young royal had made it a priority to take time from his busy schedule to attend the lavish affair, which would have made his mother so happy.
George is the only son of Princess Diana’s older sister Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
On a wedding website dedicated to the couple, George is described as a “naughty boy from England”, while his new bride is described as “an innocent angel from Ladysmith”.
The 31-year-old prince was a royal guest of honour at the ceremony which took place at the exclusive Netherwood Farm in the KwaZulu-Natal province in South Africa.
The nuptials were also attended by Lady Kitty Spencer, daughter of Earl Spencer, and Diana’s niece.
Reports say there were no personal photos or mobile phone photography allowed, so don’t expect photos of the handsome prince at the event to surface any time soon.
Harry has been spending the UK summer in South Africa raising awareness for AIDS, a charitable cause that was very close to Diana’s heart.
See Harry’s powerful speech at the 2016 International AIDS conference in the clip below. Post continues.
The Prince confessed recently that he wished he had spoken more about his mother’s death through his childhood and teenage years.
He is currently involved in further charity work on an elephant conservation project in Malawi.
