This is what we know: Meghan Markle has 1000% moved to London to be with her not-officially-announced fiance Prince Harry.
The actress has finished filming Suits, wrapping up her role as Rachel Zane to step into her new role as Prince Harry’s wife.
The last time we checked in, both Harry and Megs were asking their loved ones when they had an opening in their calendar.
“Senior members of the Royal Family are understood to have been asked to look at their diaries to shortlist a series of suitable weekends next year – the clearest sign yet that an engagement announcement is imminent,” a pal explained to The Mail on Sunday.
And now we have a date!
“It will definitely be a summer wedding,” a friend tells Us Weekly.
Well holy guacamole, what will we wear, what will she wear, what will he wear?!
The European summer spans over June, July and August so watch this space!
Before you dust off your tiaras, for now Prince Harry is focused on helping his partner settle into London life.
Meghan, 36, officially moved out of her Toronto home, and will move straight in with her Prince at his two-bedroom Nottingham Cottage, located on grounds of Kensington Palace.
And Harry couldn’t be more excited.
“There are are no plans for them to live separately,” a friend of Meghan’s says.
“She’ll move right in.”
In fact, one of his mates admits that Prince William’s little brother has been making changes to help make his apartment more “girlfriend-friendly.”
Apparently Meghan has helping with that, decorating his home with plants and candles.
The staff at the apartment are already familiar with Meghan, but she can always turn to her future in-laws for help.
Prince William and Duchess Kate are a short walk away if she has any questions.
“You can’t trust anyone more than family,” a royal insider remarked, “so it’s no surprise Harry wants them to help make this transition easy for Meghan.”
What we all really want to know is when will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announce their royal engagement.
Everything is now set into motion, and we can expect the Palace will share their announcement early in the new year.
From past royal announcements, we can expect an official photo call at either Kensington or St James Palace, along with the always exciting syndicated TV interview.
One source mused that, “[it] will likely be some time in January. It gives Meghan some to get settled and will be a great start to 2018.”
