The UK’s Express is reporting that Harry, 29, was spotted animatedly chatting with TV presenter Sabrina Sato after being introduced to her at a reception for the Queen’s birthday party held at the Great Britain Centre in the city’s Pinheiros district.
“We really enjoyed chatting,” Sabrina told reporters.
“I invited him to come to carnival in February and he said he would come.
“I will show him how we party in Brazil.”
The 33-year-old looked striking in a cream figure-hugging frock and showed off her legs in six-inch Louboutin pumps.
After the encounter Sato told reporters that Harry’s affection for her nation has captivated the people of Brazil.
“This is the second time he has been in Brazil and I love how he has shown great care and love for the country,” she said.
“You can tell by watching and listening to him how passionate he is about the country.
“When he takes parts in events here you can tell he is genuine and not just doing it because it is his work.
“He has passion and I find that really impressive.”
The model – who is known for her risqué carnival costumes – also gushed about how she found Harry “extremely handsome and a real gentleman.”
Harry – who wore a navy suit and dusty blue tie – gave a speech at the event where he spoke warmly about his time touring the nation.
“This is my second visit to Brazil and I am delighted to have the opportunity to explore a little more of this wonderfully vibrant and fascinating country.
“In particular, to be here in the city of São Paulo, the economic hub of Brazil and one of the biggest cities in the world,” he said.
“Once again, I have been struck by the warmth of the welcome I have received, in Brasilia, Belo Horizonte and here in São Paolo, a place which has a long history of links to the United Kingdom.
“In 1894 a Brazilian man of British ancestry, Charles Miller, brought a rule book and a football with him from the United Kingdom.
“The rest, as you know, is football history.
“What we invented, Brazil perfected.
“In the UK we would like to think of this as an act of typical British generosity, but in truth, it is more an act of typical Brazilian creativity, which I hope will bring you huge success in your World Cup.
“The story of football shows what the partnership between the UK and Brazil can do.”
Only hours earlier the Prince had almost been brought to tears meeting orphaned children who had lost their parents to the terrible street crime and drugs in one of São Paulo’s roughest neighbourhoods, Diadema.
Seemingly inspired by the experience of the day Harry spoke once again of his heartfelt regard for the South American nation and of Acer, the community project trying to piece together the lives of some of Brazil’s most vulnerable inhabitants.
“Lastly, I would just like to say how much I have enjoyed the last few days here in this passionate country,” he said.
“From watching Brazil play football in front of 70,000 screaming fans, to planting trees in the Atlantic Forest, it has all made me love this country even more since my last visit to Rio two years ago.
“Some of the children’s stories in Diadema have reduced me to tears, but the smiles on their faces show the positive impact their community is having on them and the success of Acer.
“When I am here I feel like one of you and for that I thank you,” he said.
