They say like father, like son, and the royal family is no different! Prince George seems to bear a striking resemblance to his Dad, Prince William when he was the same age.

Never has this seemed truer than in the new official portraits of baby George, released by his parents Prince William and Duchess Catherine for Christmas.

It’s not the first time though that the pair have seemed uncannily alike– flick through the gallery and marvel at their many similarities.

We’re sure George will grow up to every bit as dashing as his dad and make a very handsome head of state!

Even in their official family portraits, the easily distracted young princes looked remarkably similar.

Prince William and Diana had an official photo shoot on a family picnic qwith a baby William, just like William and Catherine did with baby George, 30 years later.

Chubby legged William, centre, looked just like his future son Prince George as he tentatively took his first steps with the help of Mum!

Prince George and Prince William: the pair of them both looked ever-cheekier as they got older and learned to walk!
