Duchess Catherine’s mother has spent some quality time with her grandson Prince George.
Her grandson may be the future king of England, but that hasn’t stopped doting grandmother Carole Middleton from taking Prince George out and about like a regular toddler!
People report that Carole took the Prince on a trip to the local farmers market near her home in Bucklebury recently, where he sampled some of the goods on offer.
Locals noticed the 17-month-old was “trying all the food” and even went back for a second helping of Christmas pudding from one of the stalls.
“It was just really, really sweet. He was just being like a normal toddler is, running around and exploring – he is such a sweetie. He’s lovely. A real bundle of fun,” an onlooker said.
It was reported that Carole was acting like “any other nan – a real mother hen” on the outing, which took place while Duchess Catherine and her husband Prince William were visiting New York on official business.
“She just keeps telling people ‘He’s gorgeous, isn’t he?’ like any other grandmother would say about their little one,” the source said.

Duchess Catherine is very close to her family, and had recently invited them to join her for Christmas at Sandringham for the first time.
We’re sure the Middleton’s must be very excited for Duchess Catherine’s second child, due in April.
