While the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have enjoyed bringing up their two children in their secluded Amner Hall estate in Norfolk, a new report from the Daily Mail claims that the royals may indeed pack their bags and head on over to the big city of London.

According to the publication, two-year-old Prince George has been enrolled to attend Wetherby Preparatory School, a prestigious boys-only school based just half a mile from Kensington Palace in Bryanston Square, London.

Should the pint-sized Prince attend the esteemed $38,000 a year pre-preparatory school, he would commence his studies next year.

And while his mum Duchess Catherine is known for her ability to re-purpose and re-wear outfits to multiple royal outings, it would seem that little George might just be able to do the same by wearing his daddy’s old uniform!

That’s right, both papa Prince William and Uncle Harry were pupils at the school back in 1989.

Like father like son! Prince Harry and Prince William attended Wetherby Preparatory School as boys.

Previously, it was thought that George would attend Beeston Hall School in Cromer on the coast north of Norwich, after finishing pre-school at Montessori nursery, but if he is to attend his father’s old school, the publication suggested that the Duke and Duchess would need to move from Norfolk to their Kensington Palace apartment in London.

Their alleged impending move would actually explain why Kate and Wills took out an $8.5 million renovation to their Kensington Palace residence back in 2014.

The refurbishment saw the 20-room Apartment decked out with his and hers bathrooms, three kitchens, a state-of-the-art panic room and encrypted wi-fi and central air-conditioning. Plus lucky Prince George and his adorable 10-month-old sister, Princess Charlotte have their very own day and night nurseries.

The 33-year-old dad attended the single-sex school with his brother before moving on to attend Ludgrove Preparatory School in Berkshire where William participated in many sports including football, swimming and basketball.

The Prince was later educated at Eton College in Windsor before he finally enrolled, under the name of William Wales at the University of St Andrews where he majored in geography and art history.

It was at the prestigious university that he met his now wife.
