Prince George has just celebrated his second birthday, but he is already telling anyone who will listen that he is actually three years old.
Besotted mum the Duchess of Cambridge revealed her son has started fibbing about his age while talking to two-year-old Freddie Wilson at an engagement in Portsmouth, England, on the weekend.
“She asked him how old he was and he said ‘I’m three’,” Freddie’s mother Wendy Maxwell said. “When I said he is only two, she said, ‘George says that. He thinks that he’s older.'”
George turned two on July 22.
Kate told another mother, Rebecca Mills, that she hoped Princess Charlotte would sleep as much as Rebecca’s 13-week-old son Harry, who slept throughout his brush with royalty.
William and Kate – dressed in matching jumpers with their names printed on them – were in Portsmouth to attend an America’s Cup World Series sailing race, which was cancelled at the last minute due to inclement weather.
