Talk about a fast learner. At just 11-months-old, adorable Prince George is already standing on his own two feet.
While touring the National Maritime Museum in London this week, his proud mum the Duchess of Cambridge revealed that her son, the future king of Britian, is walking.
But that’s not the only thing Catherine shared.
The sport loving royal also mentioned she’s keen for her baby boy to set sail, once he is old enough of course.
A keen sailor herself, Woman’s Day understands Her Royal Highness has already recruited the help of four-time Olympic gold medalist, Sir Ben Ainslie, to teach George a few tricks of the high seas.
The British sailor even offered to start the prince off early in a small children’s sailboat.
“The duchess was very keen but not for a couple of years yet – when he’s about 7 or 8,” Sir Ben said after speaking with the Duchess.
“But we’d love to get the duchess sailing soon. She’s very keen and of course we’d love to get her out on the water. She doesn’t get to do it much now.”
Coming from a sailing family, a competitive Catherine is no stranger when it comes to hitting the water. She even made a royal splash while on tour in New Zealand, beating her husband, Prince William in a yacht race around Auckland.
“She loves sailing,” Sir Ben added. “You can just tell she’s always been keen on it and her face lights up when she’s talking about it.”
