The Cambridge children are reportedly set for a culture shock as they transition to a new school in Berkshire, near Windsor.
For months there have been rumours Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge intend to relocate their young family to be closer to the Queen in Windsor.
Now it appears the pair have settled on Adelaide Cottage, a four-bedroom home in Windsor that will require them to withdraw Prince George and Princess Charlotte from their current London school.

(Image: Getty)The children will reportedly be moving from Thomas’ Battersea in the English capital to Lambrook School in Berkshire, where things run quite differently.
The school runs mandatory classes on Saturdays, something George and Charlotte never experienced at Thomas’ Battersea.
Lambrook School is also said to be a “modern, cosy and nurturing” establishment, according to Geo News, though unlike Thomas’ Battersea it doesn’t have a ski chalet in Austria.
With school term fees ranging from £4,389 (AUD $7,670) for reception to year two, then jumping to £6,448 (AUD $11,268) from year three onwards.
It costs extra for children to board at the school, however George and Charlotte will reportedly continue as day students, returning home in the evenings.
Meanwhile, Prince Louis is set to start his schooling when the year begins in September and will likely be enrolled at Lambrook with his elder siblings.
Talk of their enrolment and the Cambridge family move have yet to be confirmed, but reports have been making headlines for months now.
“It’s ideal for the Cambridges, who want to position themselves in a secure country home where the kids can have a normal upbringing out of the spotlight and that’s also close enough to London for their own work,” a source told Woman’s Day in March.

“But they’re speeding it all up because William and Kate are anxious to be closer to the Queen after her recent bout of ill health. They just need to find the right place, and Cumberland Lodge so far ticks all the boxes.”
Now it appears they’ve done just that, though royal fans are still waiting on an official announcement.
