Writing for The Sun, respected royal correspondent Emily Andrews said that thereโ€™s a strong chance the eldest two Cambridge children will join their parents Prince William and Duchess Catherine on the walk to church.

โ€œIt will be so sweet. George and Charlotte will make their Christmas debut, as long as theyโ€™re both on good form on the day,โ€ a source revealed.

โ€œItโ€™s the picture all royal fans want to see. The royals walking to church on Christmas Day is a rite of passage and so William and Kate didnโ€™t want to expose their children too early, but they feel theyโ€™re old enough now.โ€

However, itโ€™s unlikely that Prince Louis will be in attendance as at one-year-old, heโ€™s a little too young.

Last year, Prince George and Princess Charlotteโ€™s young relatives Savannah and Isla Phillips were spotted walking to the church service, so we could see the cheeky youngsters walking together.

And seeing as Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are forgoing a royal Christmas this year and weโ€™ll miss out on seeing them, weโ€™re keeping our fingers crossed!

In 2016 when the then family-of-four spent the silly season with the Middletons, the then three-year-old Prince George and one-year-old Princess Charlotte were snapped attending church with their parents in Bucklebury.

Little Prince George was even snapped enjoying a candy cane- looks like he wasnโ€™t on the naughty list that year!

Thanks to their German heritage, the kiddies open their presents before the big day and enjoy a family dinner that night. They then wake up on Christmas Day for a full English breakfast.

Following the traditional church service, lunch is served and then the entire family sits down to watch the Queenโ€™s pre-recorded Christmas message at 3pm. Anything for Gan Gan!

Last year, it was revealed that George and Charlotte were most definitely not sound asleep at home as their parents went to church.

Jill Lee, 71, told reporters that Duchess Catherine had revealed what had happened that Christmas morning as she greeted the crowds outside the church.

โ€œI said to Kate โ€˜were the children up earlyโ€™ and she said โ€˜very early, but it was lovely to see their facesโ€™,โ€ the royal fan explained.
