The cheeky tyke, his best friend Lupo the dog and his doting grandma set out for a morning beach frolic in Norfolk before George’s fun-filled family birthday party later in the afternoon.

Carole and George were spotted by beach-goers holding hands as they jumped waves together. The playful Prince then proudly dug a huge hole, which he kindly let his granny sit in.

We’re guessing George didn’t see the appeal in building a sand castle, since he lives in one.

The big brother to Princess Charlotte looked as cute as button donning his signature colour navy in a padded jacket and shorts. Meanwhile Carole, 60, couldn’t help but take a few snaps of her sweet grandson.

It sounds like the adorable two-year-old had a wonderful time at the beach with Carole and sweet Lupo, the family dog!

The beach regulars didn’t bat an eyelid as they walked past the incognito fourth-in-line to the throne and his grandma.

George’s love of the beach stems from his father’s childhood with William and Harry both enjoying a regular upbringing. The now-adult royals were often snapped escaping to the beach for a fun day in the sun.

The two-year-old’s birthday July 22nd festivities continued on throughout the day at their country residence, Anmer Hall.

Close friends and family enjoyed a low-key birthday bash with guests like Prince Philip, The Queen and Pippa Middleton in attendance.

Prince George regularly hangs out with his grandparents, in fact the youngster was built his very own playground by his loving grandfather, Prince Charles!

Ahh, life really is a beach for this bubbly blonde bub!

Prince William wants Prince George to enjoy the simple things in life just like he and Harry got to with their mother, Princess Diana.
