At a royal Christmas party engagement on Monday, Prince William revealed that his ever-loveable son, three-year-old Prince George, has already begun to sneakily unwrap his presents under the tree.
The Duke of Cambridge, who was joined by his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge and his brother Prince Harry at the event, shared the precious tidbit with KISS FM DJ AJ King.
After the event, AJ revealed, “I had a really nice chat with Prince William who told me that this was their last week at work, as it were, before Christmas. He said they were all really excited about it and that George is already opening his presents.”
“He thought it quite funny. That’s kids for you, even the ones that are princes!”
With the presents wrapped, ready and under the tree a full week out from Christmas, who could blame him?
Kate channeled her festive side wearing a red and green Vanessa Seward dress to the relaxed event, which was hosted by youth support service The Mix and charity, Heads Together.
The Heads Together charity was famously founded by the golden royal trio in an effort to reduce the stigma around mental health.
According to several reports out of the UK, Prince William and Catherine will forgo traditional royal celebrations with The Queen at Sandringham this year, instead choosing to spend time with the Middleton clan on Christmas day.
The much-loved royals will take their two kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to their grandparents Michael and Carole’s stunning Bucklebury mansion in Berkshire.
This will be the first Christmas George and Charlotte get to enjoy at the Middletons and unlike the formal royal celebrations, it’s expected to be a much more relaxed day.
Pippa has previously spoken about the family time, describing it as “magical” and revealing that her dad always rocks a fancy dress outfit.
One of his favourites includes an inflatable sumo wrestler – and we can just imagine how much George and sweet Charlotte would love that!
