Just like any two-year-old’s party Prince George had about a dozen youngsters at his parent’s home, Anmer Hall to celebrate.
According to British newspaper Express The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were the perfect hosts as they welcomed friends and family members into their country residence.
Of course The Queen was there to partake in the festivities as the future heir to her throne was no doubt loving the attention from his pals.
Luckily Prince William was able to get the time off from his new job as a Pilot for East Anglian Air Ambulance to celebrate his son’s birthday.
Her Majesty’s husband, Prince Philip also made time to attend the occasion, after he was unable to last year due to royal commitments.
Duchess Catherine planned most of the intimate event herself, while it’s believed her mum Carole, who runs a party supply company, helped.
Although the young royal’s Aunt Pippa and Uncle James attended his first birthday, it is not yet known whether they were able to make it this time around.
Unfortunately doting Grandad Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, were not in attendance due to official business in the West Country.
Prince Harry, who is in Africa, was also not able to attend.
The small gathering lasted almost two hours before guests said their goodbyes to let William and Catherine spend some precious bonding time with their young family.
Meanwhile in London, the royal Grenadier Guards acknowledged the little Prince’s big day by playing Happy Birthday on their trumpets at Buckingham Palace!
