Duchess Catherine’s latest outing saw her visit a farm in Gloucestershire.
While things were going crazy with the abundance of cute animals meeting the 35-year-old it, it’s the sweet anecdotes she shared that really had everyone smiling.
The royal was talking to local student Sayanna, revealing that Prince George and Princess Charlotte are learning to speak Spanish.
“She said she is trying to teach Charlotte Spanish and said her son George can count up to ten in Spanish already,” the nine-year-old recounted.
We expect the tots’ Spanish nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, is also helping them out with the language.
The farm adventure proved to be a day filled with fascinating revelations.
The proud mum also shared the funniest details from Princess Charlotte’s second birthday celebrations on May 2.
Catherine was chatting to a group of schoolchildren and their teacher Natalie Graham, when she was given a Paddington Bear toy and sweet birthday card they had made for the two-year-old.
“She told them that they had a little party for Charlotte yesterday and she sung Happy Birthday to herself,” Natalie revealed.
“It was so sweet. She loved the card and present and said Charlotte would love it too as the card had Peppa Pig on, which she loves.”
The beloved royal was in Gloucestershire to support the charity Farms For City Children.
The organisation helps young ones understand the importance of farming, the countryside and food production.
The charity’s chief executive gushed about Kate’s visit.
“It’s been a joy to have her for four hours.”
“She spent quality time with the children and she was fantastic, you can tell she can really gets it. Having had a childhood experience growing up in the countryside, she appreciates how crucial it is.”
