Prince Félix and Princess Claire of Luxembourg have left hospital with their new little two-day-old princess.
The young princess will bear the names Amalia, Gabriela, Maria Teresa, a tribute to her grandmothers, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa on her father’s side, and Gabriele Lademacher, on her mother’s side.
The healthy baby girl was born on 15 June 2014, weighing 2.95 kg and measuring 50cm and left the Grand-Duchesse Charlotte Maternity Wing at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg earlier today.
Second-in-line to the throne Prince Félix and Princess Claire were married in September of last year – just 10 months ago!
In a statement to announce her birth, the royal palace of Luxembourg said: The Grand Duke and Grand Duchess as well as Mr and Mrs Lademacher and their families expressed their best wishes and joy at the happy news.”
