Prince Charles and Camilla’s Christmas card this year pays a special tribute to Prince Harry.
The royal couple are incredibly proud of Prince Harry’s achievements this year, and have chosen to honour him through their annual Christmas card.
Prince Charles and Camilla decided to send a charming photo of them from The Invictus Games. The Paralympic style sporting event for wounded servicemen and women was founded by Prince Harry earlier this year.
The photograph of the royal couple shows them clapping proudly and in high spirits. It sits inside the card next to the festive greeting “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year”.

If you look at the photograph in the card closely you’ll notice another famous royal, Crown Prince Frederick of Denmark, who is sitting behind Camilla.
The royal couple’s choice of photo also pays tributes to the armed forces. While at the games, Camilla sported a brooch given to her by the 4th Battalion the Rifles, of which she is Royal Colonel, on the lapel of her Bruce Oldfield coat, while Prince Charles is wearing an Armed Forces Veterans Badge and a pin for the mental health charity Combat Stress.
The Prince of Wales, 66 and the Duchess of Cornwall, 67 showed their support for The Invictus Games alongside Prince Harry and Prince William. Duchess Catherine had hoped to join them but she was still suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum.
The games were a huge success and Prince Harry, “would love to keep it [the Games] in the UK,” and has plans to organise it all again in 2016.
