Prince Albert of Monaco has some rather unexpected advice for soon-to-be dad George Clooney…
“George should pour himself a good cup of coffee each morning,” the 42-year-old told People. “I know that sounds pretty standard but it’s really, really important.”
Albert, who shares two-year-old twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella with wife Princess Charlene, also suggested the actor pick up some “easy reading.”
“There’s actually a very good little book on being the father of twins,” he told the publication.
The book in question, A Dad’s Guide to Twins by Joe Rawlinson, was described by the royal as “really helpful” and “pretty easy to read.”
He also suggested that the Hollywood couple get “some sleep stored away before the babies are born.”
“Fortunately for Charlene and for me, that was never really an issue,” he said. “Gabriella and Jacques were relatively good sleepers from the start. Of course, there were — still are — nights where they have to be in the bedroom with us.”
“I know it seems very common sense, but having a separate room — in our case a nursery — or even a separate area prepared makes it easier for both parents to get some sleep in turns.”
Albert, who is the son of actress-turned-royal Princess Grace, also explained that George and Amal needn’t worry about learning to tell the twins apart.
“That’s actually less of an issue than you might think,” he said. “They’re different from one another, they move differently — and in our case, Jacques was much smaller than his sister when they were born, it was pretty easy to pick him out.”

In case you missed it, one week after Beyoncé and Jay Z revealed that they’re expecting twins, George and Amal stepped in to prove that genetically unique children are totally on-trend… announcing that they too are expecting twins.
And thanks to the adorably loose lips of George Clooney’s mum, we now know that the stunning duo are expecting a boy AND a girl.
“It will be one of each! Yes, a boy and a girl. That’s what I’ve been told,” George’s mother, Nina Clooney, recently revealed while speaking with US Vogue.
She added: “How marvellous! My husband and I are extremely excited.”
Surely that’ll make it a little easier to tell the twins apart?
