Well that’s a grand slam, isn’t it?
Newlywed and honeymoon-fresh Pippa Middleton took centre court as she rocked up to Wimbledon on day day three of the tennis comp.
The new wife of billionaire James Matthews was joined by her little brother James Middleton, 30, and the duo were all kinds of chic.
Duchess Catherine’s little sister rocked up to the sporting event in an open top Land Rover.
While James opted for a signature blue suit, Pippa donned a soft pink, collared dress by Self Portrait featuring their signature lacy design – proudly showing off her bronzed bod.
No doubt a result of her whirlwind post-nuptials overseas adventure – which included visits to French Polynesia, Australia and New Zealand.
With her hair swooped into a stylish ponytail, and a pair of shades on, the 33-year-old sat in scorching 28-degree heat.
Thankfully, the party planning queen and the former cupcake king sat proudly in the royal box as they watched Andy Murray defeat Germany’s Dustin Brown in a 96-minute game.
Pippa and James Matthews are close friends with sporting legend Roger Federer, who was a guest at her Berkshire wedding back in May.
So there is no doubt we’ll see more of the Middleton clan at Wimbledon.
In fact Catherine, who is the patron of the All England Club and Croquet Club who run the prestigious competition, recently shared her family’s love for the sport.
“Growing up I, sort of, watched, obviously watched Wimbledon, it’s been very much part of my family growing up,” she told the BBC.
“It’s such [a] quintessential part of the English summer, and I think it really inspires youngsters, myself, it inspired me, when I was younger, to get involved in the game.”
“It hasn’t changed either, I think that’s what’s so wonderful. You know everyone’s still there in their whites, Wimbledon still looks as amazing as it did as I remember it as a youngster, you’ve got the strawberries and cream. And, you know, every time Wimbledon is on I’m there thinking, ‘Yes, I can do, I can do the same’. Get that racket. Sadly never, never the same results.”
