Her sister was wed in a lavish Westminster Abbey ceremony, but Pippa Middleton is apparently keeping her impending wedding a little bit closer to home.
The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister, who put herself on the map after stepping out as maid of monour in a figure-hugging, white dress for Kate’s big day, will allegedly tie the knot to fiancé James Matthews at her local village church.
Yep, it’s believed that 150 guests will witness the union between Pippa and the hedge-fund manager at the chapel of St Mark’s in Englefield, Berkshire, before moving on to a reception in the Middleton’s back yard.
“There’s been a lot of speculation that Pippa would get married at her fiancé’s hunting lodge in Scotland or have a massive bash in London. But she’s a traditional girl and just wanted to get married at home,” a source tells The Sun.
The Heartfelt cookbook author drew A LOT of attention at Wills and Kate’s wedding.
“Her mum has been very involved in all the wedding planning and she wants to show off their house to all their friends,” the insider goes on.
“Plus, how can you compete with Kate, who got married at Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace? This way, Pippa can keep it private and very personal.”
Pippa allegedly accepted the investment banker’s proposal when he got down on one knee during a weekend escape to the Lake District.
While it is still uncertain whether Duchess Kate will play the role of maid of honour, her two children Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, 17-months, are expected to take part as page boy and flower girl.
And as cheeky Prince Harry made an excellent best man at William’s royal wedding, the groom’s brother Spencer, star of UK show Made In Chelsea, is also scheduled to stand by his brother’s side.

Pippa is undoubtedly best known for the role she, or rather her pert derriere, played in the 2011 royal wedding.
Her maid of honour dress has been one of the most envied and recreated dresses in formal fashion, but apparently Pippa is on a mission to upstage herself at her very own ceremony.
In recent weeks, the bride-to-be and her mother Carole Middleton, 61, have been spotted shopping for dresses in some of London’s most exclusive stores, including Suzanne Neville where gowns retail for up to $16,000.
The brunette beauty is determined to upstage herself!
Earlier in July, the happy couple released a statement to the Press Association, saying, “Miss Pippa Middleton and Mr. James Matthews are delighted to announce they became engaged on Sunday 17th July and plan to marry next year.”
According to a second statement issued by Kensington Palace, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are absolutely delighted with the news.”
