As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are excitedly awaiting the birth of their second child, they have been busy preparing for the arrival of their new little prince or princess.
Duchess Catherine and Prince William will be welcoming their second child in April next year and the couple are making sure they’re organised for the big day!
It turns out though they’re not the only ones excited and eager to meet the new addition.
Big-brother-to-be Prince George can’t wait to have a sibling to play with.
So much so, that his parents are planning to transform the now 16-month-old’s already decked out playroom at the family’s Anmer Hall residence in Norfolk, England, into a communal hang out spot for their little royals.
And while the third in line to the throne may have to share his fun toys and trinkets with the new tiny tot, he won’t have to share his bedroom, a family friend told Us Weekly.
Meanwhile, a pregnant Catherine, who suffered from severe morning sickness in her first trimester, is said to be feeling much better and has been taking the time to prepare her first born for their new bundle of joy.
“I’m not sure George understands that Kate is pregnant,” the source said.
“But they are talking to him about having a new brother or sister. They’re making sure he’s prepared the best they can. Kate’s starting to feel really pregnant.
William and Catherine send thank you cards with never-before-seen family portrait
“Now that things are settled health-wise, she’s loving being surrounded by her girlfriends, having a laugh and talking baby things,” the source continues. In addition to relying on her pals, Catherine is also chatting with Prince William about “bits and bobs” to buy for their nursery.
