It’s been almost five months since the world saw its first – and only, to date – photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet.
The couple shared a sweet family photo featuring their baby girl over Christmas 2021, but it remains the only snap we’ve ever seen of her… so far.
Three major clues sugget the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are about to share more photos of Lilibet and their son Archie, but can we trust these hints?
1. Here comes her first birthday
With Lilibet set to turn one on June 4, there’s no better time for her parents to share a new portrait of their only daughter.
Harry and Meghan previously shared new peeks of son Archie for his first and second birthdays, suggesting they’d follow in Kate Middleton’s footsteps with annual birthday portraits of their kids.
Though the couple skipped the tradition for their son’s third birthday on May 6 this year, royal fans are hoping they’ll honour it when Lilibet turns one.
“I think we could get another photo for her birthday, or even a video like they did for Archie’s first [birthday],” one royal watcher tweeted.

2. They’re heading back to the UK
The Sussex family will also be heading back to the UK around the time of Lilibet’s birthday, making it the perfect time to share new family snaps.
“Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honored to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children,” a spokesperson for the couple recently announced.
What’s more, the couple are believed to be planning to stay at their old home of Frogmore Cottage, where they took one of the first photos they ever shared of Archie.
The snap featured hte then-newborn boy’s tiny feet over a field of forget-me-nots, Princess Diana’s favourite flower.
Given Lilibet’s middle name is a tribute to her late grandmother, we may see a new photo of the young royal posing among the blooms at Frogmore Cottage.
3. She’s about to meet the Queen
Last, but certainly not least, Harry and Meghan will be introducting Lilibet to the Queen – her namesake – face-to-face for the first time in June.
Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations align perfectly with Lilibet’s first birthday and the couple may celebrate both occasions at once by sharing a new photo of their first meeting.
The Sussexes previously shared photos of son Archie meeting the Queen for the first time in 2019, as well as his great-grandfather Prince Philip.
With that in mind, royal watchers are hopeful they’ll get a peek inside the moment Her Majesty meets her youngest great-grandchild in June.
