The Palace’s Facebook page has revealed a new official snap of Prince Albert II and his wife Princess Charlene along with their twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella ahead of the little royals’ fifth birthday on December 10 and it truly is a sight to behold.

In the photo, Albert and Charlene stand next to each other while their children stand in front, with the proud parents each holding one of the twins’ hands.

While Prince Albert looks dapper in a grey suit and festive red tie, Princess Charlene is the picture of elegance in a teal, long-sleeved dress.

The new portrait, snapped by photographer Eric Mathon, will be on sale in the principality of Monaco from December 4 and profits will be donated to humanitarian works.

Another paid tribute to Albert’s late mother, film star Grace Kelly who went on to become Princess Grace writing, “Fan of this couple, a beautiful picture that our Grace would have been proud of.”

The royal family of Monaco most recently stepped out for the country’s National Day on November 19.

Whilst Princess Charlene looked utterly chic in her all-white ensemble and matching hat, the real stars of the show were the twins who gazed down from the Palace balcony in national dress.

Whilst Princess Gabriella was all in red with an adorable beret perched on top of her head, Prince Jacques stepped out in his first-ever custom-made uniform, but both were seen waving and laughing excitedly.

Speaking to PEOPLE magazine, Prince Albert revealed, “Yes, he’s being outfitted this year. I think they still have one fitting to do but he’ll be in a uniform. And that’ll be great fun.”

The royal dad also highlighted to the publication that it’s better for their introduction to official royal duties to be a gradual one.

“Sometimes it’s been a little flustering for them when they enter a room full of people staring at them. We’ve had some moments where understandably they were a little taken aback by that, so we have to try to accompany them in these kinds of situations,” he explained.

“They’ve become very used to dealing with public appearances if it’s not too long, too taxing and not too overbearing for them.”

We hope to see more of this adorable royal family with Christmas approaching!
