The royal wedding is over, which means Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have officially started their lives together. However, Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, isn’t exactly living in royal bliss.
Radar Online reported that Doria is “miserable” after the palace made her sign a document ordering her to stay silent on all things surrounding Meghan’s new life.
“Doria can’t eat, speak, or otherwise open her mouth about Meghan unless she clears it with the Royal family,” the source said. “They’ve silenced her and made her sign a non-disclosure agreement.”

This arrangement reportedly won’t even allow Doria to speak to her close friends back home who couldn’t wait to hear all about the nuptials.
“Her friends are asking how the wedding was, how the food was, asking how happy Meghan is, and all Doria did was shrug her shoulders,” the source explained. “She didn’t say a word. It’s so sad. The poor lady looks and feels miserable.”

Things have drastically changed for Doria, who showed up to her daughter’s wedding with a smile on her face, despite the drama surrounding her ex-husband Thomas Markle before the big day. Between staging photographs for the paparazzi to having a heart attack and needing surgery, Thomas made some serious headlines.
Shortly after, Meghan was quick to address the speculation of whether or not he’d make it to walk her down the aisle.
“Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health,” she said in a statement. “I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support.”

While Thomas wasn’t at the palace to sign his own non-disclosure agreement, he was able to open up about how he thought Meghan looked on her wedding day.
“My baby looks beautiful and she looks very happy,” he shared with TMZ. “I wish I was there and I wish them all my love and happiness.”
Doria, on the other hand, has stayed suspiciously mum.
