Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry are set to make a very special appearance alongside some of the world’s most prominent faces.
The pair will join the likes of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and even Jennifer Lopez for Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World, which aims to promote an equitable distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine across the world.
Hosted by pop superstar Selena Gomez, the concert will be pre-filmed in Los Angeles – not far from Harry and Meghan’s home in Santa Barbara.
Airing on May 8, Vax Live‘s mission is to bring people together amidst the pandemic in order to recover and heal.
“We can’t leave anybody behind. We will all benefit, we will all be safer, when everyone everywhere has equal access to the vaccine,” Harry and Meghan shared in a statement.
“We must pursue equitable vaccine distribution, and in that, restore faith in our common humanity. This mission couldn’t be more critical or important.”
Duchess Meghan is currently in the late stages of pregnancy, with the pair expecting their second child in the US summer.
The baby’s gender was revealed in March during their Oprah Winfrey interview, with Harry joyfully stating: “It’s a girl!”
Adding of their first child, Archie Harrison who is just shy of two-years-old: “Grateful, having any child, any one or a two would have been amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl . . . now we’ve got our family and we’ve got four of us.”
While it might be a little longer to wait on the newborn, we’re sure to get some more updates from the Sussexes as little Archie turns two on May 6.
The royal tot is growing bigger with every glimpse we get, and given how the Sussexes have operated since departing their senior royal roles, we’re expecting another short, but sweet picture or clip of Archie as he celebrates his next milestone.
Much like the gorgeous video of Meghan reading to Archie on his first birthday, or their unique 2020 Christmas card photo, this peek into their lives behind the cameras will be well worth the wait.
Stay tuned – we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.
