Meghan Markle’s always polished and perfectly poised style is one that many would love to copycat.
In fact, the newly minted Duchess has inadvertently started her own not-so-mini-mania aptly titled the ‘Meghan Effect’, whereby avid fans flock to buy whatever latest ensemble she steps out in.
There’s just one teeny catch – a royal wardrobe certainly doesn’t come cheap.
Well, until now it seems…
Duchess Meghan stepped out in a new Club Monaco ensemble in November, and while its bright berry-red colour was enough to turn heads on its own, there was another, much smaller accessory that caught our eyes.
The pregnant royal was wearing a small golden ring on her middle right finger which forms the word ‘love’.
The sweet accessory was a subtle addition to her outfit, but had us quickly looking to see where it was from.
And to our (and plenty of royal fans) delight, the ring in question is surprisingly affordable, costing around $AUD96.00.
Made by LA based designer Meredith Hahn, the accessory is titled the ‘Jamie Love Ring’ and can be shipped right to your doorstep.
What’s more, there’s still some available online.
That’s right, something Meghan recently wore hasn’t sold out in minutes, which seems like a first given the amount of designer websites she’s now crashed as a result of her loyal fashion followers lining up to buy her latest looks.
Whether it’s a planned move by her stylists or not, it does seem as though the Duchess has taken a liking to clothing and accessories that are on the more affordable side of late.
Earlier in November, Meghan wore a Marks & Spencer black cocktail dress that cost $AUD94.00, which is nothing to sneeze at!
Clearly, our thoughts were mirrored by the masses, as the dress quickly sold out online.

During her royal tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga, the Duchess also wore a very affordable red polka dot dress that sent fans into frenzy.
As she stepped out in Queensland, the Duchess’ dress by & Other Stories, which is branded under the H&M group, turned heads, and then wallet buckles as people rushed to buy the $AUD163 red ensemble.
Meanwhile a pair of sleek sneakers worn by the Duchess were also in the affordable price range, costing $AUD195.
People were mega quick on this one – the website housing said sneakers, The Iconic, saw an 800% sales increase within 48 hours of the Duchess wearing the style.
The Markle Effect is real, folks! ‘

Whether it’s a planned move by her stylists or not, there’s no denying there’s definitely strong reasoning behind every item in Markle’s wardrobe.
The aforementioned ring was worn by the Duchess as she visited the Community Hubb Kitchen in London, which was the very place she helped to create a charity cookbook with women affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
As she stood outside the building, Meghan came across a woman involved with the cookbook, and it was clear there was a strong fondness between the pair as they embraced.
While it’s not confirmed, it does seem as though Meghan’s ‘love’ ring might have a lot to do with her special connection to these inspiring women.
