Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry have been together for more than three years and it’s clear the spark between the pair is definitely still alive, especially if Meghan’s latest gesture is anything to go by.
In a revelation that’s more than likely put quite a few couples under pressure to go all out, the Duchess has come up with the ultimate gift for her other half – and it’s the perfect mix of elaborate, and achievable.
Yes, you might want to take start taking some notes.
According to a new report from PEOPLE, the Duchess recreated an entire scene from one of the pair’s most poignant moments – in the backyard of their home.
It seems Meghan decided to go all out for Harry’s birthday in September last year when she created a makeshift campground, mirroring the very place they stayed in Botswana back in 2016, the location where the couple reportedly fell in love.
“It’s a place that means so much to them – and to Harry in particular – so Meghan wanted to bring that happy place to him on his day so she set up a tent, got sleeping bags, cooked dinner and recreated Botswana where they fell in love,” a source told the publication.
Meghan went all out for her husband during his birthday in September.
(Getty)The African location is hugely important to both royals, and particularly Harry, who has said the incredible landscapes and people there helped him through the trauma of losing his mum back in 1997.
After meeting Meghan back in the European summer of 2016, the pair travelled there together (one of their first major trips as a couple), where they camped out under the stars of Botswana for several nights.
“We camped out with each other under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic,” the Prince revealed in the couple’s engagement interview back in 2017.
The Duke and Duchess share a strong love and passion for the African continent.

In fact, the pair revisited Africa last year on a royal tour with baby Archie.
They have also continued to share close relationships with some of the charities based in the continent, including Elephants without Borders, an organisation the pair have continued to shine a light on during their time as royal family members.
The royal couple have long associated themselves with charities based out of Africa.

Last week, the couple celebrated their second wedding anniversary – though this year’s occasion looked slightly different to other years.
As they remain in isolation amid the COVID-19 pandemic in their new Los Angeles home, the pair are understood to have marked the day “quietly together as a family.”
According to Vanity Fair‘s royal reporter Katie Nicholl, the couple were “most likely offline, enjoying each other, Archie, and having some time to reflect on the past two years.”

And what a two years it has been.
This year alone has certainly seen enough twists and turns to last them a lifetime – especially after they announced back in January that they would be stepping back as senior royals.
As the pair now work towards becoming financially independent, they have now set up a base in Los Angeles, where they will work on their new foundation, Archewell.
Reports suggest the new umbrella organisation will promote the work of their various existing patronages, as well as new charities. It’s also expected to include a wellness website.
Looks like the couple have plenty of things in the pipeline – bring on the next two years … and then some.
